Pacific Northwest Viols (PNV) is a chapter of the Viola da Gamba Society of America. It is incorporated and licensed as a not-for-profit organization to provide educational opportunities for its members, to promote awareness and understanding of the instrument in the community, and to provide a means for people who enjoy the instrument and its music to share the experience of playing together. Although most activities take place in the Greater Seattle area, members who regularly attend PNV functions come from British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon. |
